Angelea Hayes is a junior at Pepperdine University pursuing a degree in Creative Writing, with a minor in sustainability. She grew up going to Bible camp in the mountains, where she learned about God and His powerful work through creation. She loves hiking, camping, and spending time in nature to de-stress and think about God. At college, she is a part of the Social Action and Justice Colloquium, the Global Fellows Program, and has studied abroad in London for an academic year. The summer after her freshman year, she studied abroad in the Pepperdine New Zealand Summer program in partnership with the Creation Care Study Program, which was a transformative experience in her journey of faith. As a YECA fellow, she is excited to spread the good news of the resurrection and how it can inspire positive change for the environment, for all the world’s creatures, and ultimately, for God.
