Kaity Shelley is a senior at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia studying biology and community development. She was raised is east Atlanta, Georgia with her parents, older brother, and dog, Buster. Her interest in climate advocacy and environmental intersectionality has its roots at the Jekyll Island Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center, where she learned about how human action can negatively impact the rest of creation. Ever since, she has pursued life changes to reflect her desire to steward the Lord's handiwork and seeks out the voices of climate scientists and people groups afflicted by climate change. Kaity wishes to earn a masters degree in public health that concentrates on the connection between environmental degradation and human health to better advocate for Creation.
