Kathryn Horvath

Kathryn Horvath

Kathryn Horvath is a senior at Pepperdine University double majoring in Sustainability and Psychology. Originally from Washington State, she has grown up surrounded by the beautiful Pacific Northwest landscape. Attending Pepperdine has not only offered her an escape from the Seattle rain, but also an academic environment that has fostered her love for sustainability. Throughout her time at Pepperdine, Kathryn has discovered the various intersections between psychology and the psychosocial aspects of sustainability. She feels passionately about environmental communication and hopes to inspire others to care about environmental stewardship during our collective climate crisis. In the following years, Kathryn hopes to get her Master’s in Sustainability to further the reach of her potential impact. She is grateful for YECA’s support in providing an opportunity to bring sustainable solutions and Creation Care to her college campus.
