Noelle Alderton

Noelle Alderton is a junior at Pepperdine University who is thrilled to be studying both sustainability and art. Noelle’s biggest joys are (in no particular order): Jesus, the ocean, surfing with her twin sister, Salt and Straw ice cream, backpacking trips, her memories from studying abroad in Argentina, and her summer job in Yosemite National Park. Through her love for the outdoors, she has discovered a deep passion for creation care. Her Christ-centered education at Pepperdine has expanded her concern for the environment to extend beyond simply preserving nature to thinking critically about how environmental degradation intersects with issues of social justice including racism and feeding the world. She is so grateful for the opportunity to be a YECA fellow!
