Hanna De La Vega Sanchez
Originally from Mexico City, Hanna De la Vega is a sustainability advocate dedicated to advancing community well-being, climate leadership, and collaborative solutions. She currently serves as a Sustainability Associate at the Michigan Sustainable Business Forum, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting business practices that support social justice, climate action, and the transition to a circular economy.
Hanna’s work is grounded in her belief that bold, compassionate action is essential to addressing today’s environmental challenges. Having experienced the impacts of climate change firsthand, she is deeply committed to speaking up, adopting sustainable practices, and inspiring others to reduce their environmental impact.
In addition to her professional role, Hanna has participated in a range of programs and initiatives, including serving as a YECA College Fellow, Sustainability President at her university, a COP Observer with CCOP, a YNPN Board Member and a volunteer with The Global Youth Coalition. She values diversity, believes everyone has something unique to contribute, and brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every space she engages in.
