There are incredible gifts present within the Christian community, and YECA has benefited greatly from relationships with senior faith leaders.

Dr. Dorothy Boorse joined the Gordon College Faculty in January, 1999. She has a master’s degree in entomology (Cornell University) and a Ph.D. in Oceanography and Limnology.

Christine Folch serves as Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology and holds a secondary appointment as Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Policy at Duke University.

Dr. Katharine Hayhoe is a Climate Scientist, Chief Scientist for The Nature Conservancy, and author of the book Saving Us.

Dr. Rachel Lamb currently serves as Senior Climate Advisor and the agency lead for natural climate solutions at the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE).

Ben Lowe is the Executive Director of A Rocha USA. He served as the YECA National Organizer and Spokesperson for 3+ years and is one of the organization's founders.

Kyle holds an undergraduate degree in religious studies from Calvin College (B.A. '12), a Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary (M.Div. '16), and is ordained in the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA).
