Madeline Armstrong

Madeline Armstrong

Madeline Armstrong (she/her) is pursuing a Ph.D. in Earth and Ecosystem Science at Central Michigan University. Her profound appreciation for the natural world took root during her upbringing in the scenic state of Maine. Madeline holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science and Small Vessel Operations from Maine Maritime Academy, where she was awarded the Spill Control Association of America’s Environmental Excellence Award. Following graduation, Madeline dedicated a term of service to the Maine Conservation Corps. Madeline was awarded the Yale School of the Environment Environmental Fellowship, which ignited a passion for equality, inclusion, and justice in the environmental field. 

In her free time, Madeline is an avid reader of fantasy books, a versatile craft enthusiast, a pun fanatic, and always eager for new adventures.
