Shaphan Hestick

Shaphan Hestick

Shaphan Hestick is a passionate advocate for sustainability and global development. During his time as an international student at Houghton University, he triple majored in Environmental Science, Political Science, and International Development, conducting research in Alaska, Sierra Leone, and California. He served in student government and worked as a climate fellow with Young Evangelicals for Climate Action (YECA) from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Shaphan is pursuing graduate studies at George Washington University, specializing in International Science and Technology Policy. He also worked in advancement and youth mobilization with the Wesleyan Church of Guyana missions secretariat, supporting community development and international missions.
