YECA Welcomes New National Organizer and Spokesperson

I am thrilled to introduce you to Lauren Kim, YECA’s incoming National Organizer and Spokesperson! Lauren has been involved with YECA since 2019, serving as a Project Manager, College Fellow, and Steering Committee Member. Her passion for creation care stems from her appreciation of nature and time spent on farms.

Lauren is passionate about clean water, natural preservation, and animals–especially horses and cows after living in Texas! She is a graduate from the University of Virginia with a degree in Global Security/Justice. Lauren believes deeply in the mission of environmental stewardship as a practice of obedience, kindness, and radical love toward Jesus and His creation. (Micah 6:8)

I am so incredibly excited for the future of YECA under Lauren’s leadership. Lauren brings a variety of experiences that will serve this organization well, and I know she will infuse fresh energy and creativity into our ministry.

I can’t wait to see all that God accomplishes with and through Lauren in the coming years as YECA continues in its mission to love God and love our neighbors through bold, faith-rooted climate action. Please take a moment to get to know Lauren through her own words in the note below!

I hope you are having a blessed summer so far!

I am so excited to step into the role of National Organizer for YECA and to join the EEN team. A special thank you to everyone who has helped me on this journey! And, of course, praise to God for bringing me to this position.

Please think and pray for me as I prepare for this role. I have big shoes to fill, thanks to Tori. She has been a wonderful example for me.

My first day with YECA/EEN is July 22nd. I hope to hit the ground running as we prepare for the College Fellows training program. I have big plans for the organization, and together there is much we can accomplish. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any comments, questions, or suggestions!

I am infinitely grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to YECA’s bright future!

How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
